The purpose of the Canadian Bodymod Directory is to provide those looking for services with a list of studios which can be searched and sorted by type of service and location, to make it easier for the user to find a suitable studio near to them. We also provide the user with the ability to share their experiences to help others to make an informed choice of studio.

Membership

Membership on the site is free, and is required to post new content. Any member may post a new studio, comment on any listed studio, rate any studio or artist with the Five Star rating system, or post a blog about body modification. Membership is about attribution. Posters all have verified email addresses.

Email Addresses

Email addresses are not published on the site. If an email address is entered, our servers will give the user a contact form, then send the message to the email address provided. Users will not know your email address unless you reply to their email. Email addresses found in the body of any post will be removed.

Suitability of comments

Comments are meant to provide our users with your feedback. We recognize that not all feedback will be positive, and studio owners may themselves answer any feedback that is given. We are not a dispute resolution site. If any comment thread appears to be the start of a flame war, the thread will be deleted. Failure to respect this policy, and repeated flames will result in a suspension of site privileges.

Acceptable Posts

Any post which advocates discrimination or violence against any identifiable group will be removed, and the poster will immediately be barred from any additional site privileges. Studio listings are restricted to publicly available establishments which specialize in personal services and image enhancement. Custom clothiers like corsetiers qualify, but retail off the rack clothing stores do not.
